This article describes how to set up the KAYAK tag in your Tealium iQ Tag Management account.
Tag Tips
- Use event mappings to configure when confirmation and cancellation pixels are fired.
- The Commission Currency value will default to the e-commerce Currency value if one is not provided.
Tag configuration
Go to the tag marketplace to add a new tag. For more information about how to add a tag, see Manage tags.
When adding the tag, configure the following settings:
- Partner Code
- Supplied by KAYAK, this is the internal KAYAK code.
- Click ID Query Parameter Name
- Name of the query parameter that will be used to pass the click id in the tracking url.
Data mappings
Mapping is the process of sending data from a data layer variable to the corresponding destination variable of the vendor tag. For instructions on how to map a variable to a tag destination, see data mappings.
