Connectors interface

On the Connectors Overview screen, you can add and configure new connectors, view and edit actions for existing connectors, and export connector metric for success and error counts.

The following list provides an overview of the features available from the connector interface:

Connectors Overview

When accessing connectors, the Connectors Overview shows a list of your current server-side connectors.

Spotlight Search

Using the Spotlight Search feature, you can begin typing a connector name for the connector you are looking for and the list will populate matches as each character is typed. From the search results, you can go directly to available options for that connector and drill-down into the details.

Connector Summary

When you select a connector in the Marketplace, the Connector Summary displays connector information, including data types supported (event or visitor data), requirements, supported actions, and internal and external resources related to the connector.

Workflow

The workflow for the connector interface guides you through the steps to add new server-side connectors and displays the action options already assigned for each technology.

Add connectors for specific configurations

You can add multiple instances of a single connector, with a different configuration for each instance. For example, you could add a connector instance for each of your developer, test, and production accounts so each account can have a unique configuration.

View Incomplete Actions

When configuring actions for a connector, a status indicator to the right of each required action displays a message in red text to indicate required fields. Optional actions do not display this status.

Activate or deactivate actions

You can activate or deactivate individual actions for a connector, or activate or deactivate the connector. The connector must be activated before you activate actions.

Reassign New Actions

You can create actions and reassign those actions to server-side connectors that are already built.

Connector Reporting

Server-side connector reporting for AudienceStream and EventStream shows the total success and error counts, in real-time. You can optionally download the error information to a CSV file.

Roll Back to a Previous Connector Version

You can roll back to any previously published version of a connector using Server-Side Versions. For more information, see Server-side versions.
