Data Layer Flow
When a web page with Tealium iQ Tag Management is rendered in a visitor’s browser, the data layer object behaves.
All required variables are identified.
Variables are combined into utag.data.
utag.data is copied to the locally-scoped b object as needed.
Extension operations may modify the data layer.
Load rules may evaluate variables to determine which tags to load and fire.
Variable values are mapped to destinations in vendor tags.
Vendor tags fire and pass variable values to your vendors.
