About Tealium Shopify app
This article provides information about the Tealium application in the Shopify Marketplace.
The Tealium app in the Shopify Marketplace lets you do the following:
- Use Tealium iQ Tag Management with your Shopify site. The app loads Tealium assets, such as
utag.jsandutag.data, on each page of your site. - Send Shopify event data to Tealium EventStream API Hub.
- Use a custom checkout pixel to send checkout data to EventStream.
- Use Shopify Markets to track events from multiple market regions with a single Shopify store.
Some page events, such as Shopify purchase events, are handled differently because they are events that occur on pages managed by Shopify, instead of being managed by iQ Tag Management. The Tealium app sends data for these events to Tealium EventStream.
Requirements
- Administrative access to your Shopify instance during configuration.
- Your Tealium account and profile information to create a data source in Tealium.
- Tealium EventStream, if you want to send Shopify event data to EventStream.
