Enchant Connector Setup Guide

This article describes how to set up the Enchant connector in your Customer Data Hub account.

Connector actions

Action Name AudienceStream EventStream
Create a New Customer
Update a Customer
Create a Contact

Configure settings

Navigate to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. For general instructions on how to add a connector, see the About Connectors article.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

  • Access token
    • To get an access token, install the API app from the apps tab of your help desk settings.
    • Each instance of the API application has it’s own access token.
    • For more information about authentication, see the Enchant Rest API documenation.

Action settings - parameters and options

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

This section describes how to set up parameters and options for each action.

Action - Create a New Customer

Parameters

Parameter Description
First name
Last name
  • Last name of the customer.
Summary
  • Custom summary information.

Action - Update a Customer

Parameters

Parameter Description
Customer ID
First name
  • First name of the customer.
Last name
  • Last name of the customer.
Summary
  • Custom summary information.

Action - Create a Contact

Parameters

Parameter Description
Customer ID
Type
  • Either “email” or “twitter."
Value
  • Email or Twitter value.
