This article describes how to set up the Google Ad Manager Conversion tag in your Tealium iQ Tag Management account.

Google Ad Manager (formerly DoubleClick for Publishers) is a complete platform to grow all of your digital ad revenues in all the new ways and places people are watching, playing, and engaging.

Tag tips

The Google Ad Manager Conversion tag, formerly the page view tag for DoubleClick for Publishers, has the following features:

  • Supports the E-Commerce Extension for Order ID.
  • If Order ID is not set, its value is set to a randomly generated number.

Tag configuration

Navigate to the Tag Marketplace to add a new tag. Read the Tag Overview article for general instructions on how to add a tag.

When adding the tag, configure the following settings:

  • Activity ID (xsp):
  • Order ID (ord): Value can be an Order ID, or a randomly generated number if left blank and not mapped.

Load rules

Load the tag on all pages or set conditions for when your tag will load. For more information about load rules, see the Load Rules documentation.

Data mappings

Mapping is the process of sending data from a data layer variable to the corresponding destination variable of the vendor tag. For instructions on how to map a variable to a tag destination, see data mappings.

The available categories are:

Variable Description
Activity ID (xsp)
